The first month of the year brings much enthusiasm in Lisbon. But before that, you can meet the locals in outdoors festvities that mark the beginning of the new year in this outstanding, unique and happy city. New Year’s Eve successfully over, people retake their daily routines with pleasure. They are not all work, but do enjoy their fun as well.
Weddings are usually organised during the warm season, but planning takes months, so here is the place to find an idea or two: the Exponoivos scheduled to take place at the beautiful Lisbon Marriott Hotel in Lisbon, a place to really get you into a festive atmosphere, between January 6th and 8th 2017. If you can’t make it then, you can attend the second round between the 13th and 15th of the same month.
And if you want something else, you can attend the Creative Cities International Conference between the 25th and the 27th of January 2017, an intellectual event organized by the University of Porto and meant to discuss the importance of city life in today’s society.
You can also take you Lisbon airport transfer or your Lisbon rental car and go listen to the great Biffy Clyro at the Lisbon Coliseum at 9 PM on January 27th.
